I'm always really impressed with the way Tibetan teachers have embraced the Internet, social media, and so forth as ways to share the Dharma. This from people who still had largely medieval technology until the Chinese marched in and forced the 20th century down their throats. Someone asked a lama of my acquaintance what he did before he entered the monastery. He said that he headed yaks. And this man is in his early fifties.
It's true. I've a Tibetan friend and he works for the stables around here because, well, caring for horses with his nomadic family is what he did in Tibet.
The monks especially though are really on this technology.
