I, Icarus

Here you will find stories I've written, stories in the works and stories I've read and enjoyed. There will be the occasional writer's workshop, or detailed description on how-to ("fill in subject here").

Then, out of the blue, the odd, detailed dissection of Buddhist philosophy will appear.

How this fits with Harry Potter, Stargate, Supernatural, and Lord of the Rings fanfiction is anyone's guess. Oh yes, and now I'm in the Merlin fandom, too, but that was predictable.

Subscribing policy: The primary purpose of this journal is to pimp stories, mine and others' -- so friend away, be my guest. Of course, I gave in to temptation and have personal posts, though most of those are locked. I used to friend everyone back, but LJ only allowed us to friend 1000 people, and I don't know what the limit on Dreamwidth will be. For now I am subscribing to pretty much everyone who subscribes to me.

I dip into my subscription list at random so don't be surprised if I miss the fact that you got married but suddenly reply to a post about your cat. I'm voyeuristic like that and skim for stories and, to a large extent, personal posts.

Filtering: Once upon a time I had filters but they were a nuisance, so while I use filters to sort my LJ reading by fandom, as a rule I don't post filtered content. I am, due to RL concerns, locking personal posts. Except when I don't.
