I was bemoaning the dearth of Ron/Snape fics with

thetreacletart when she suggested a Ron/Snape ficathon. Unable to leave a good idea alone, I thought how few good Percy fics there are in the world and then froze in indecision, because I couldn't possibly do both.

For those of you who haven't ~~been suckered into~~ participated in a Ficathon: A Ficathon is a challenge to write about a particular character or pairing. You request a certain type of fic (first time, with fruit), and delineate what you prefer not to see (naked house elves). Then you are assigned someone's challenge in return. You would have a period of about six-eight weeks to write the story.

Do you have any interest in participating in a Ficathon (after the Ron Ficathon is a fond, fading memory)? Would you participate in a Ron/Snape Ficathon? A Percy Ficathon? Some other character or pairing? Do tell.

Might you consider broadening it to "Weasley/Deatheater?" That would include Ron/Snape or Percy paired with Snape, Draco, Lucius, etcetera.

But after seeing a Ron/Narcissa pairing I thought Ron/Lucius would be a natural (pureblood pride!), and there just ain't anything decent (or suitably indecent) out there with that pairing...

I've never participated in a ficathon, don't know whether I could write smut or Weasley POV, but I'd be willing to give it a shot if I could get Ron/Lucius in return...

You don't have an "either" choice.

Percy would be my first choice. I've been ~~torturing~~ writing about him the last coupla days, having apparently decided he hides stuff under his perfect robes (I didn't decide this on purpose...anyway). But I'd go for either.

I could use some motivation to write some Ron/Harry!

Percy! End of April would be the best time for me -- I've already got two challenges due the 15th and 16th.

I have never written Percy, not even as a minor character, but I've always wanted to :)

I'd be happy to participate...as a reader & reviewer. I haven't written any fanfic so I'm not sure something like this should be my first attempt. I've only written little bits of orignal erotica type stuff before...not sure if I have the knack for fanfic.

Whee! I would participate in both of those (though I would favor the Ron/Snape).

Then again, I've also added a vote for a Weasley ficathon, as it would cover all of the above.

Although, Ron/Snape would be wicked fun to write.

I had to vote for him because, as much as I love Ron (and I do. Just look at the icon.), my love for Percy is greater. Ah, Percy.
