People just read their favorite pairings? No, for me it's usually the author, if the writer is skilled. If I like an author, I almost always work my way through all of his/her published works. I go through a lot of fiction, every month.
In fandom, I'll start reading someone if it's a pairing I like (which is why I read "Primer"). But if the person is good, I'll then read almost everything she has out there, as long as it's not a pairing that I really dislike. If you read a lot of work by the same person, you get a feel for her "voice" and how her characters tend to see the world: in the case of a mature, gifted writer, the characters' world views usually form a gestalt that is fascinating.
So, yes, I've read everything on your site.
Now what would be fun would be a quiz that had a (not easy to identify) passage from the work of a variety of hp authors, and you had to guess the writer, based on the voice. That would be an interesting challenge.
