I'm so happy about this financial aid problem going away, I'd like to celebrate.

Yet, I have 700... well, about 500 pages now... to read this weekend. And I have a committment to finish this sexy John/Lorne piece, which has just now earned its NC-17 rating.

I know! Who wants to write me John/Rodney porn, say, role playing?

I think... it would be Rodney's idea. "You can play the macho soldier. That wouldn't be too much of a stretch, right?"

I can feel John's eyeroll and glare from here. The somewhat sarcastic suggestion that Rodney could play the arrogant, evil scientist. After all, once again, not too much of a stretch :P

Rodney would get a speculative look at that. "Hm. That could work. And you foil my master plan?"

"What am I, James Bond?"

"Mmm, no, I don't think you can pull it off-- though you can try, I mean, if you could that would be-- well," he adds eagerly.

"The name is Bond. James Bond." John attempts to sit a little straighter.

Rodney rolls his eyes expressively. "Never in a million years."

Although I think I would pay good money to be seeing Rodney try to be a nurse. Or John. I think they'd have more luck with James Bond, which clearly Rodney just nixed.

Of course, if the James Bond idea got any further than that, they'd end up arguing about whether Rodney should capture and "torture" John or vice-versa, until John rolls his eyes and says, "Admit it, McKay, you just want to tie me up and have your wicked way with me."

"That phrase is so trite I cannot believe your brain did not leap out of your ear and recoil in horror under the bed," Rodney says. "And besides, you know you'd love it."

"Really."

"Of course. The whole--authority thing," and here he makes an expressive gesture, "is clearly a manifestation of something deeply seated and ridiculously Freudian. So either you'd secretly enjoy being dominated or you're a high-functioning sociopath, and frankly, if it's actually the latter, I'll have to break up with you."

"You've thought about this way too hard," John said.

"Genius, remember?"

Rodney, I'm on board with the rebellious submissive theory. He likes being dominated but prefers to get a little salve for his ego before he... gives in.
