Radek was right about Rodney. He's very innocent (even though Rodney feels he's Very Worldly).

Fortunately, John's on the bubble with that addiction. It could flare up again in the future, but the underlying problem is that John doesn't have anything other than skating in his life. He hasn't quite let Rodney in that far. With John's skating out of commission, he reached for something to numb his awareness of the mess of the rest of his life.
