Well, I'm glad I could be of assistance :) I hope this still holds up when you actually start looking into the research - a lot of the collective memory stuff has been done with reference to either nation formation or generational studies. That's the angles I'm working with the most, these days. But I'm sure there's a lot out there I haven't seen, I've barely scratched the surface :) (There's an actual journal out there titled History and Memory!)
