I'm sorry to hear of your misery. When we lived in California I used to die in August/September. No AC...'cause we lived by the beach, who'd need it? So, so hot.

I actually live in AZ now, but at least we KNOW we're going to roast and have AC everywhere in expectation. I have a lovely yard that I never go in...too hot.
