It is interesting to hear how everything that has happened has affected your current life; I often wondered why someone so clearly smart had struggled with their studies, not necessarily academically, but often encountering obstacles. That self-sabotage is a tricky thing, as I know only too well myself.

I enjoy your journal, your stories about your life, and your fic, and have ever since your SG-1 days and I see no reason for that to end, now that I've found out that you are human and have made mistakes :) I really hope this latest turn of the wheel will ultimately bring you more peace.
