Regarding www.muse-wanted.com.

It looks as if and_love/for_long's webhosting has been abandoned. Hostees are locked out. The owner of muse-wanted has not responded to Y!M, A!M, or comments for days.

Her financial problems were resolved, per this message to me last week:

sabbie_cat (4:45:39 AM): Hi, uhm, I saw you moved your site, which is quite upsetting, because it's something I've enjoyed hosting. And I truly was very sacred, weeks back when all this emss happened, people would leave no matter how hard I tried to fix it. And don't worry about not asking. I got the money fixed out, everythings paid for, and I have money for the hosting for the next four months. It's up to you but it just saddens me.

While the site's still up (for now), it looks like www.muse-wanted.com is history.

I think right now it has more to do with and_love leaving livejournal and the fandom, rather than the money.

But, um, if you've already given up on that site and executed your decision to move back to the old site, why do you care if the site's been abandoned?

She's locked people out, so they can't download their files. I had back-ups of everything, but other people don't, and she hasn't responded to them.

Well. That does make it worse. As the webhost, she ought to be more responsible than that, but there's not a whole lot you can do about it from your end...by the way, I didn't mean to imply earlier that you shouldn't care what was happening with the site, or that I was offended because you said something negative about and_love. It's just that your recent posts sound a bit more like gossip or wank or whatever, and I thought you disliked that sort of thing.

No, I'm not in contact with Sabbie. We used to talk, a few months ago I think, but we haven't been close for a while. Sorry I can't help you get in touch with her! You seem to know more than I do, anyway. But I'm not entirely shocked by recent events, because I sort of understand how her mind works. I'm trying to ignore the latest drama.

Someone who was interested in continuing her site would have responded to a post announcing its demise. Probably furiously.

She's responded to every post I've put up in the past about problems with the site within hours, so I know she reads this journal. If she has abandoned the site....

She hasn't left the fandom or LJ. She has multiple LJs.

I just re-read your note. Are you in contact with her? Because there are few people who've been trying to reach her to be able to access their sites and she has not replied to email, A!M, Y!M, or comments in either her old journal or the new one.

She hasn't left livejournal, by the way. She's just moved her journal to for_long.
