Nice.

Oh nice. Someone sent me a one-liner review of The Hat Trick:

"i don't like it."

Thanks for going out of your way to tell me what you feel, without telling me anything at all in the process. Why not? What do you feel should be done differently? What is it that didn't work for you in the story? Pacing? Characterisation? Mood? Style? What?

Lazy little wretch.

With shitty timing.

*shuts LJ again.*

blah, I hate that type of feedback. Had someone email we a one liner of : "Snape is out of character."

I guess "well, I don't like you" would be an inappropriate rebuttal? *g*

*eyeroll*

Probably didn't have enough of whichever pairing the "reviewer" thinks is the One True Way.

The world is full of idiots. Enjoying what you write is the best revenge.

They are quoting Mr Horse! "No, sir, I don't like it."

(Yes, I spent the entire weekend watching Ren & Stimpy)

So you've been dissed by a cartoon horse.

It has a certain crude honesty to it, but I think they would have been even more honest if they'd just said "I don't get it". Because I suspect that's the case.

Well, I adored "The Hat Trick" because it's an intelligent fic and deals intelligently and sympathetically with my favourite character.

Don't let the lunk-heads get you down :-)
