Man. Am I the only one having this problem?

Guys, I have not been able to log in all day.

Keep getting a message that the system is read-only. But -- but I've been getting that message for days! I try to log in, I get slapped down. I try again, pretty please, I'll be nice, I'll only say sweet things about fanfic and won't whine about pictures loading slowly, honest. I'll even be nice about the CAPSLOCK.

No, LJ says.

Sigh.

I got that message a lot about two weeks ago. If you click "refresh" several times, it'll stop being in read-only mode.

But when I tried again or refreshed it worked mostly.

This started happening when the new company took over LJ. I've decided they suck.

Don't know what to think of the new company or if they have something to do with the problems.
But if they don't get a solution soon I can imagine that they get a lot of trouble with the LJ-user.

My Memories were intact after LJ went down those two days, but I've been getting the message consistently. There was a period of about a week or two where I didn't, but for the last few weeks... sigh. Refreshing worked until yesterday.

You are probably on Filet Mignon cluster. The free accounts are all on there and they have been taking it off line and into read only mode on and off for days now waiting for new hardware.

You are definitely not the only one having this problem. It's a bitch, yeah, but fortunately this problem only happened overnight for me and worked the nect day. I hope yours get better's soon!

It's a a real shame . GJ is far better than LJ, yet people usually don't make it their personal journal for reason being: their friends aren't going to move with them.

I'm not a free account, and I was out over the weekend - for about 24 hours, anyway. It was weird - I had access to old posts by everyone, but not any new posts. It fixed itself, though.

I hope your problems clear up soon...I'm impatiently waiting for the Jericho post... *g*

Yeah, I'm at my wits end. I just lost a long post on wildernessguru's opinion of what it takes to write a good Stargate story. Multiple tries doesn't help when the post is wiped out for good.
