How compatible with me are YOU?

Kitty's purring in my lap, so happy I'm home. He's not used to my working and was very unhappy that I was gone all day.

Hi! Apparently we were meant to be friends. :)

Destiny!

It's destiny! It's fate! It's... well, actually, the real indicator is that deep and abiding interest in Harry Potter porn on RS.org but...

A Winner!

Look, I'm a winner! So, do I get a prize, too? I mean, 102% -- hey.

--102%, of course! This calls for a gift! *ahem*
You may:

a) smother me in honey.
b) declare your undying love for me in the form of a sonnet.
c) slick back your hair, dress in Slytherin robes, and pout at me sensually.

Choose wisely! There is but one gift!

hello!

81% *nods* sounds cool.

And we agree that Draco is most special on the bottom. *winks* In more ways that one.

On Snape's Musical choice:

For some reason, the anthems of Wagner seem to suit Snape- The Ring Cycle. I can see Snape in absolute ecstasy, while Harry thinks to himself "Crikey, but this is an arse numbing way to spend the evening!"

Hmm. Still working on that image. Not sure... Wagner... Mahler... Beethoven... yeah, I think you're right. I see him enjoying the ethereal intellectual music, Bach's melodramatic Toccata in Fugue in D Minor. You can just hear that wild organ music pouring through the Slytherin dungeons, and aggrieved young Slytherins putting up with it because they have to.

I'm absolutely certain he would hate Copeland with a passion. Probably wouldn't like the modern stuff either.

Dumbledore is the Mozart type. And I bet Snape would give him a (wizarding of course) recording of 'The Magic Flute' as a kind of subtle dig, that even Mozart can sometime suck.

Aaron Copland is too heartfelt, too sunny and optimistic- far too American for Snape's tastes. Bach's music thundering thruogh the dungeons- what an (aural?) image.
Snape might like modern- Mahler, principally. The conflict, the emotion the seeming breaking of control, only to resume again- very Snape.

Re: On Snape's Musical choice:

[identity profile] icarusancalion.livejournal.com 2003-05-31 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
LOL. Aaron Copeland and Jimmy Buffet: two sounds Snape would hate.

Oh, Mahler I can see. I was thinking of Schoenberg, Stravinsky and Bartok.

He would love the Russian composers (that Durmstrang influence).

Hey, this is fun. What other music do you envision him listening to? The Sex Pistols?

Sex Pistols- possibly, just to hear the screaming and lyrics. I was thinking The Clash for that era. But there is the possiblity Snape might like Led Zeppelin. In fact, I am sure of it- the romanticization of British country life and medieval values (the better ones), the eroticism, the superb guitar-playing would seem to be up Snape's alley.

Hey will ya look at that....I'm at number ten!

How can someone be 102% compatible with you?....Cos that sounds like a scary ammount of compatability
