The sorting hat song you can leave out and still have the plot. I think they would have done a bad job of that anyway. 'Weasley Is Our King' is critical to that plotline, and you can have a slightly corny tune because it is, after all, kids making it up. That song doesn't have a good rhythm to be chanted, so they'll have to created a song for it. But hell, we have two more movies (whee) before we get to see this one.

Yeah, except who wants to bet that the movie won't come out until 2020? (And I got Minerva on that quiz.. uhm.)

But it DOES take at least a year to make each movie, doesn't it? And those big gigantic 4th and 5th books will be hell to cut.
