[livejournal.com profile] cherryink says do something for somebody else. Good idea.

And who better than Zelenka?

Here's a campaign to show your love. With Chibis. Because, yes, he is cuter than kittens.

This is just to tell you there's an invite from [livejournal.com profile] thesmithy waiting for you. You can pick it up by going here (http://www.livejournal.com/manage/invites.bml). We look forward to reading your work!

The only problem is that while I still run Percyness (http://www.icarus.slashcity.net/percyness), I haven't written HP fanfic in quite some time. My most recent full-length HP fic was posted in December of 2005. I've mostly been writing Stargate stories at this point.

If you don't feel you'd be able to participate to any meaningful degree, then feel free to decline the inviation by all means. :) We'd rather have active members, so thanks for telling us.

I don't want to just collect invites and then not participate, though I'm very flattered and pleased, thank you for inviting me. Right now I... I burnt out my Harry Potter engine. I mean, I've written a few HP drabbles in the last six months but they suck. Not fresh at all.

If I get my HP mojo back would I still be welcome later?

You certainly would! I know how you feel, I go through dry periods and it's infuriating, but great to find a new fandom that inspires you. We've got a post where people can rec themselves and other people, so if you feel at a later date that you just must write HP, leave a comment there? I really enjoyed what I read of your writing, so there shouldn't be a problem at all. I really appreciate your honesty though, I think a lot of people would have accepted and then sort of slinked off. ;)
