These Drabbles are part of Beg Me For It. Told from Ron's point of view, they take place between 'Beg Me For It' and 'Sex, Drugs and Death Eater Rock.'

The Beach

Draco taught me his trick of getting through the weekly ‘rah-rah Death Eater’ meetings — he’s done them since he was a kid. While they droned on, we visualized a beach so clearly, you could count the sparkling grains of sand as they sifted through your hands. He built sand castles, while I had seagulls, rocks, and different tides, and seaweed washed up onto the beach. Heh. No doubt with our glazed, happy faces we looked like good little Death Eaters.

*smiles contentedly*

I'm very comfortable in this universe. You've made me enjoy being there so very much.

Thanks for the continued insights into their lives.

These actually were inserted throughout 'Sex, Drugs and Death Eater Rock', but it was decided that although they gave insight into the boys' situation, they jolted people out of the action and spoiled the fun. I liked them though, so they're going to be included in the overall 'Beg Me For It' universe. I'm considering (since most of these are PG) of putting them up as a little series on ff.net, giving people a link to 'Beg Me For It.'

Hey, did you get Lizard's pix?

Oh, on the SeaQuest thing... I'm just going to make the guy work a bit and then I'm gonna give him a one-two. I have my SSFF story to do you see, priorities, priorities...

So these were scenes that you deleted before I had my chance to beta? Man, I'd have left them in... ;-)

/runs!

Yeah, got the link to the pix, thank you both. I should have uploaded tonight, but have been farting about reading C/P instead *g*.

Bloody Seaquest. Grrrr. I've just been informed that he's asked onlist for a way to contact me! As if I haven't written to him plenty of times already, the fucker.

Well, I can't wait to hear from him. *taps foot impatiently*. I feel like ripping him a new one, so hopefully I'll get my chance.

Yeah, I kinda ran out of time, and my final beta felt very strongly that they didn't fit. They wee retro-fitted into the story after all. I can email you the version with all the inserts in their proper places, so you can see how it would have gone. I've even toyed with putting the two alternate versions up on my site. Certainly these drabbles are going up there though. I like them too much not to.

What's C/P?

Speaking of Betas, would you like to have a look at the next chapter of Beg Me For It, 'Hey You'? If you have time. It's very dark, *warning* almost no sex, and focuses more on Percy. Yes, I confess I've developed a Percy fetish.

You have deveoped a more than mild fixation on him, haven't you? *g* Which is great - I loved the treatment of Percy in Sex, Drugs and am thrilled you've continued working with him.

Sure, I'd love to have a look! Oh... LOLOL. Jesus. I *just* left an office with my own private printer *g*. I could have printed it out quite calmly only yesterday *g*. ROFL! Oh dear, you have to laugh.

C/P = Chakotay Paris, Voyager slash. I was totally into CP for a couple of years, and reading it tonight is lovely. Tom wears pain very well *eg*.

*squints* Chakotay/Paris. All I can come up with is a naked Indian sweat lodge on the holodeck.

This part of 'Beg Me For It' is safer to print. Though Ron's language is still rough... hmmm... it's safer, though not exactly safe.

Wonderful, I'm sending it along. The concern is that the readers have to have read 'Beg Me For It' and 'Sex, Drugs and Death Eater Rock' for 'Hey You' to make sense, while the first two stories could stand on their own. I've dropped in an intro section to try to make up for it, but I don't know if it worked.

I love these drabbles, because Ron's 'voice' is so wonderfully snarky and cynical.

Well ... being taught by Snape for seven years would have to rub off somehow!

Well, Ron can be pretty sarcastic at times. He mellowed out a little in Order of the Phoenix (or backed off because Harry was so pissed), but he damned sarcastic all the way through Goblet of Fire.
