One of my very favorite SG-1 fics, found: Kawoosh! by Anais
I learned that Anais site disappeared (oh, I so have to comb through my links on my rec-list but I don't wanna! *whinges*). I looked up another story for
starting_gate on the Wayback Machine and in the meantime saved this:
Kawoosh! by Anais, Jack/Daniel, SG-1
This is one of those rare fics that capture the silliness and wonder of the Stargate, and the joyful idealism of Daniel, his way of seeing things a little differently.

What happened?
This is why everyone's fic should be archived.

I agree, everyone's fic should be archived and in several places. If I ever "quit" fandom, I'm posting a zipped file with all of my fanfic in it so people can distribute as they want. I hate it when fics I love go MIA.

Komos has locked all the porn on lj, although she will friend on request, but it's available unlocked on her site: Double Bed is at http://komos.lyricalmagic.com/doublebed.html, For Now at http://komos.lyricalmagic.com/fornow.html, Still Life With Cliche at http://komos.lyricalmagic.com/still.html
Rosalita's slashcity page seems to have gone, taking An Ordinary Day (http://slashcity.org/rosalita/ordinary.htm) with it; the Wayback Machine finds it here: http://web.archive.org/web/20050322105410/http://slashcity.org/rosalita/ordinary.htm; I don't know if she has it anywhere else, but her Area 52 page just links to the disappeared slashcity page.
Chelle has changed her archive a bit (or slashcity has changed around it); Asked is no longer at http://chelle.slashcity.org/Stargate/Asked.htm but http://chelle.slashcity.org/stargate/asked.shtml; Stumbling Home has moved from http://chelle.slashcity.org/Stargate/Stumbling.htm to http://chelle.slashcity.org/stargate/stumbling.shtml, and the address for The Package has changed from http://chelle.slashcity.org/Stargate/Package.htm to http://chelle.slashcity.org/stargate/package.shtml - they're also up at her Area 52 page.
Danvers has been reincarnated: A Christmas Wish has moved from http://d4nvers.users.btopenworld.com/fanfiction/xmaswish.html to http://svendra.com/fanfiction/xmaswish.html; your link to a Daniel as a woman fic (http://community.livejournal.com/stargateslash/39518.html?view=138590#t138590) doesn't work but I can't find it anywhere else; Couch Philosophy has moved from http://d4nvers.users.btopenworld.com/fanfiction/couchphil.html to http://svendra.com/fanfiction/couchphil.html; Ba'al Vs. The Lunch Lady is no longer at http://www.livejournal.com/users/danvers/118676.html but part way down http://sdraevn.livejournal.com/6149.html, and SG-1 is no longer at http://d4nvers.users.btopenworld.com/fanfiction/sg1.html but at http://svendra.com/fanfiction/sg1.html
Stargatefan.com has apparently gone down, but Sandman's story And Ducks Go Quack Quack can still be traced with the magic of the Wayback Machine; it's moved from http://www.stargatefan.com/fictionabc/andsducksgoquack.html to http://web.archive.org/web/20050208201922/http://www.stargatefan.com/fictionabc/andsducksgoquack.html
Ineke has deleted her lj, so Interlude is gone from http://www.livejournal.com/users/ineke/64536.html and I don't know if it still exists anywhere else.
Keiko Kirin's site is gone: http://www.geocities.com/keiko_kirin/sg/thebox.html doesn't work any more, but her page at Area 52 is still up and the Steak Series starts here: http://www.area52hkh.net/ask/keiko/steak01.php
