Kitty is on the table, where he's not allowed to be. He clearly gets up there all the time, what with that calm leap and casual step. I must admit, I can't bring myself to tell him to get down.

This cat's spoiled.

As my roommate Noah once said "I'm the only one who makes the cat get off the counter. He's not learning to stay off the counter - he's learning that I'm the Asshole in the house."

*snorts* I guess Monte Carlo is learning that I'm the permissive mom. "Sure... have candy for breakfast. Can't see why not.."

Awwww...at least feed them chocolate cake so you can PRETEND it's nutritious.

Oh, I gave up long, long ago - my kitties have free rein. They know who's boss, I guess.

My best friend, watching one of my cats trot across the table, smugly told me how she'd "trained" her two to stay off the counters. Then one day she came home and saw kitty prints up there. Sure, they were trained to stay off the counters - when she's around! Otherwise - rules, schmules.

She was much less smug after that ;)

We exist in this world to spoil cats. It's our sole purpose.

Well, perhaps our major purpose!
