Holy cow. Wolves: nowhere to run.

Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund put out an ad on Sarah Palin's policies concerning shooting wolves from helicopters.

Shit. They allow shooting in winter when there's nothing but white tundra and nowhere for the wolf to run.

And she put out a bounty for each severed wolf leg?

At first I thought she was completely unqualified. Then I thought she was also an ultra-conservative religious nut I didn't want in office. Then I found out she was fiscally incompetent on top of it all.

This is the first time she's creeped me out.

I get their email updates and one (sort of) good thing is that earlier this week they sent an email at 11 am asking for fund raising to show that ad. They were hoping to get it by the end of September. By 4 pm they sent another email stating they had already received enough to show it in some of the bigger markets. I do believe that people are starting to not only have some strong ideas about this/her, but are also willing to act on them.

Boy. I knew from the Gloria Steinem article that she was for aerial hunting, I just didn't realize the terrain and time of year make it shooting fish in a barrel. Plus, this is ultra-rich thing. Who else would hire a private bush plane to shoot animals?
