Not watching yet, but I just dld the first ep based on posts from some SGA folks. I am lemming, hear me meep.

I saw the first two episodes found them fine, but wasn't hooked. Then I came across more and more fic on my flist and have been mainlining the rest of the eps today.
There will be good fic. I can feel it. This fandom has that sort of glow.
Not yet, but I figure it'll be my Next Fandom.

I should rephrase that. My SG-1 and SGA reading filters are one and the same, since I came to SGA from SG-1.

I hadn't been watching, but I caught Satursday night's episode and it was better than I was expecting, so I'm going to go back and catch up. I'm seeing more and more positive things about it on the flist. (And, yeah, quite a lot of SGA/Merlin overlap. Also some Doctor Who overlap.)
As Villainny points out, timing is everything.

not watching yet, been thinking about it but just can't find the time - heck, I'm like 5 or 6 eps behind on SGA :-(
Think of it this way. Merlin is the perfect gift to give oneself for the holidays. It's beautiful. It looks pretty. It glitters. And it feels very nice.

I finally got caught up with it, just haven't been able to squee about it yet - there are all those *serious* thought intereupting (Arthurian-legend was my start into fantasy) and plotbunnies *grrrr*.

Not actually reading the fanfic yet but I have been watching Merlin from the first episode - it is so slashy. I would like to stay on the filter for when I do start reading it (probably right after the series ends). I am keeping a lookout for the first HP/Merlin crossover - it has so got to happen.
