If I had to describe my cat in one word....
If I had to describe my cat in one word... the word would be sardonic.
He looks over at people with clear eyes, a smile (yes, cats smile) and one ear twitched back, as if we both amuse and annoy him.
I've yet to see him roll his eyes. But he does do the huff of frustration when he doesn't get what he wants (extra dinner, dinner on time, the door opened, immediate undivided attenion).
*pets amused kitty, with a sardonic smile of my own. Hmm. I wonder where he got it....*

And then, one evening, Millicent, who, having been a half-feral cat, was very shy and stayed away from humans as much as possible, left her domain on the ground floor, came up the stairs, walked into the kitchen, plonked her ass down in the middle of the room and went MEOW. You could just hear "Feed me now and something decent, too." in that one outraged sound.

the only way he'll take a nap with me is if i sleep on my side, and i place him back to back with me, and i don't touch him in any other way.
he makes this noise we call a 'birf'. it's his way of letting us know he's annoyed. which is a lot. though i don't know where he picked it up, cause my family's not 'huffy'...well, maybe my dad.
i love when animals smile :)
