The story is approaching 250k words long, and concerns a 28-year-old skater, John Sheppard, whom everyone thinks should pack it in.

Yay. That is a very handsome kind of John. Also great drawing. I'm between amazed that you actually make up the complete figure skating choreography for the fic and utterly with you: I tend to do oodles of research, often so much that I loose sight of the fic. It makes it easier to get into a world or person and then shoddy background info is a pet peeve of mine. (Dollars as a currency in Florence, Italy. It's a shame public flogging went out of fashion.)
