Asking for extensions.

Came home tonight, expecting to write, and found mom's roommate on the computer. She had a workshop brochure to design. Hour by hour my writing time slipped away, while I watched killer-dull TV. She finally went to bed at 1am.

Reality hit home.

I have computer time only as a charity from mom and her roommate. I have no control over when that computer is available, or for how long on any given day.

I've now contacted all of my writing obligations to ask for extensions.

How do you feel about Macs? I think libitina still has my old MacBookPro if you want it until you can sort something out....

A Mac with a wireless card? I'm perfectly comfortable with both Macs and PCs. I could -- I could have internet access and writing time on tap again?

Hee. I've asked Libitina if she still has it; as soon as I hear back, I'll let you know. Also -- she says the 'R' key is being funky, so I don't know if that will make a difference to you or not....

I can deal with a problematic 'R' key. I can always pick up a cheap keyboard somewhere and plug it in.

God, how sucky. I remember how I felt when I had my broken vertebra and was laid up at my parents' house. Hope that the girls below come through for you, and best wishes.
