Your opinion, please: Tables

I'm shopping.

I found these two outdoor tables at relatively decent prices. But I can't decide. Smaller octagon or round?

Octagon that would fit in the current space well, but I wonder about having all those pointy corners. On the other hand -- octagon, how cool!

Round that might be a little big for the space, but might be more useful for me in the long run with those curvy smooth sides.

Hmm. What do you think? (And yes, I am looking at outdoor tables for a kitchen.)

ETA: Okay, I've decided on the octagon. That's the one I like. The round one is a "practical choice" which means I'm meh about it.

Funky over practical, definitely, go for the octagon :)

That's a tough choice. I think if the round isn't too big, it might be better... it's got the octagon element in the middle of the round, so that's still there, but without pointy corners.

Both are very pretty.
