Book meme: yes, giving in.

I've been resisting this one:

Pick up the nearest book to you.
Turn to page 45.
The first sentence describes your sex life in 2012.

Intentions and aims: You will achieve them.
(It's a divination manual.)

The other book is likely to be weirder:

From eastern Tibet I received word of a man who had a copy of the medium-length sadana.
(Yep.)

The nearest book from me, as the crow flies, doesn't have page numbers. I'm both disappointed and pleased because it's a book I don't particularly like (gift,) but on the other hand, it means I can't do the meme. And I'm not going to stoop to manufacturing my sexual fortune. That's a wonderfully odd phrase, isn't it?

Let's see; I think that means you're going to seek out and receive a procedure that will help you achieve your sexual goals?

Oh God, I just had a tooth extraction, please don't make me laugh too much. :)

The book nearest to me is Creative Writing by Neil Nixon. Page 44-45 has some exercises on writing a haiku. Page 45, first sentence is exercise 3: "The next surprising thing you see that makes an impression on you."

What on earth--?!

Depending on if it's a Tantric sadhana, it could mean your sex life will be pretty blissful in 2012!
