That particular line struck lightning in my brain and has changed today from good to happy for me. :) I'm sorry to hear that your temple had a difficult situation, but I'm happy to see that you kept on top of things and the situation didn't blow up badly.
There's something both gentle, compassionate, inclusive and very wise in the way you described trust, community, and the separation and connection of terrible actions, conscious change and people. It resonates with me at a deeper level than I expected.
