Normally I praise the author here, but I think I'll skip that and go straight to the battle. Primer took an early lead with its opposition clearly split by the determination that BMFI and Death Eater Rock counted as separate fics. But in the end -

Somehow, I don't know how, I'd managed to read as much as I have in the fandom without reading any of Beg Me For It until this week. Maybe I heard the name so many times I just came to assume I'd read it? Horrible, horrible oversight on my part. Stayed up hours past my bedtime.

Ack! I was offline and out of town all weekend and missed this one. The poll I'd been waiting for with much anticipation. Alas!

I would have voted for Primer to the Dark Arts. It's one of the first dozen or so fanfics I'd read after stumbling upon the fandom. But since Beg Me For It would have been my second choice, I won't sulk. Much.
