I've been following your heating issues data with amusement and interest. As an archivist, I daily log the temp and humidity in my storage/work space.
Have you tried setting up a fan to circulate the heat from the living room to the bedroom? Frankly, 80 degrees is WAAAAY too hot to stand. Just open a window!
The problem is not the heat difference but the fact that this weekend was supposed to be a test of the heating system at our place. It's been chronically cold. But the heating man cranked up the heat in order to pass the test.
