With a name like that, you know it's going to be intense.

Please don't let the unusual pairing put you off, this is a powerful, vividly drawn picture of manipulation, control and need, where sunlight and silence occupy the margins of their life together. I almost want to say love instead of need, because there is such yearning. It is both a dark and yet strangely fragile. I'm not usually one for darkfic or angst, but the insight and poetry will stay with you for a while.

indeed, this piece left me. breathless in a way i couldn't explain.

somethings were so expected as to come as a surprise, and others. others you never thought you'd hear, but they were there all the same.

i know i won't forget it any time soon, and the last part. [clutches at her heart] that was an absolutely stunning way to wrap it up. i'm not surprised even then they couldn't face (even) each other.
