Hello! If you emailed me recently, chances are I didn't get it. I just found out that a lot of my emails have been bouncing.

[livejournal.com profile] switchknife -- *sigh* I didn't get the beta on Here Again or Little Boy Blue.

I found out my Asian History teacher emailed me earlier this week about that test, giving permission for me to do a make-up. She also gave me permission to use the ESL class information for my portfolio.

I'll ask my English teacher tonight if he sent me any emails, because he did send a message to a classmate of mine, and told me he was going to email me this weekend.

Comments. It's hit or miss whether I ever got your responses.

I'm too tired to be annoyed.

gah! I'm sorry, hon! I hate email. Hotmail died on me as well and I can't get in to get my bloody plane ticket.

Can you imagine what Percy would do with email? *snickers*

Fuck. D'you have an alternate address? If you like, you can get one at alexandria.cc --it's really quite excellent, in that it has vast amounts of storage space.

Oh my God! Someone has to write that fic. Percy and computers... Arthur and computers?... Percy and Arthur.

Sorry--got distracted.

*gulps*

*forces mind to stop thinking about cestfic*

My alternate is:

sengdongma@yahoo.com

The other alternate tends to not like attachments. Hell. I was sort of hoping you hadn't got around to sending it.

The problem is that I'm getting this spamming virus that's filling up my (already nearly full) mailbox.

Arthur teaching Percy about computers... um. Oh. This is bad.

Yes, it is rather, isn't it?

*grins smugly*

*hopes to have infected Icarus' brain with a bunny*

Hmmm, freckled hand over freckled hand, Arthur guiding Percy's hand on a... mouse. Slow, ever-tightening circles. Warm breath in a slightly flushed, slightly stern ear. Percy's eyes going a bit glassy as he stares at the screen. Wondering if the computer hasn't buzzed some of its eckeltricity to him...

--Bad knife. Bad knife, bad, bad, bad...

Oh crap, as they say. Poor little boy blue truly is lost, isn't he? I'll try sending it again--let me know if you receive it--my own account's been acting weird, though, so maybe the problem's at my end? (As in, some people seem to get duplicate e-mails, and perhaps others aren't getting any at all. Fuck, I hope I'm not one of the people spamming you with viruses? If I am, sorry, sorry, sorry. I honestly don't know, man.)

Tell you what (*is suddenly struck by inspiration*): if this isn't fixed by tomorrow (since I must now sleep...), I'll put the files up on aeristerra.com/switchknife/icarus/ and let you know when they're up. Hopefully that should bypass any e-mail service problems! :)

Yay, I am such a genius!

(Well. Er. Until that solution, too, is proved wrong...)

Or Percy taking the initiative. While Arthur's being all childish and excited about this new thingamajig, Percy can't help but find that enthusiasm a little... well... arousing. And a bit annoying--since how come a little grey box is getting that excitement, and not him?

... the cheerful argument, with Percy insisting the Muggle contraption doesn't work, while Arthur tries to convince Percy that he did something wrong. Arthur fiddles and fixes it.

"It doesn't like me," Percy says, frowning at the screen. "That's the problem. I never did well in Care of Magical Creatures. They were always so uncooperative."

Arthur's sigh as he tries to explain again that it's not alive.

Hrm. My story's turning into gen.

Ah, but then Percy can show him what IS alive... ;)

Percy spins around in the leather Muggle chair -- he got the hang of that pretty quickly -- and fixes his father with a look.

"If it's not alive, then why does it act differently with me than it does with you?" He raises an imperious eyebrow. "Just because Muggles have been able to capture and tame them doesn't mean they understand these... comp-u-fiers. I mean, how bright can Muggles be? They don't even believe in wizards."

I keep writing Arthur's POV while you write Percy's. We should RP this.

:D

On a different note, welcome to [livejournal.com profile] hp_dungeons. You are, you know, a real catch. *Icarus rubs hands together* I can't wait to see what you do with this.

'They're bright because they don't believe in us, Percy--why should they believe in something they can't see? They haven't any magic--and no, that doesn't mean they aren't bright either. They have science, don't they? Look at the sorts of things they can build! Look at how much they understand about... about... the functioning of the natural world. Things we never paid attention to.' Arthur gives a frustrated little sigh, eyes still a little too bright as he skims his hand through his thinning hair. 'And it's a computer. It acts differently with you because you refuse to learn how to work it--'

'Oh? I did everything you asked.' Percy's mouth is a stubborn little line, but as he watches Arthur it curls a little--in that not-quite-smirk that somehow softens Percy's face instead of sharpening it--something that only happens when Percy is thinking, oh Merlin, of-- 'Other things are quite easy to work...'

Percy's freckled hand runs once, smoothly, along the long, leather arm of his Muggle chair--and Arthur finds himself flushing.

Tee hee, such silliness.

And am I a catch? *blushes, mumbles* I really don't think so... I was quite surprised by how enthusiastic Femme and Isolde were--I was like 'But how can you want me?' and they were like 'But we do!'--and I still can't quite believe it, but I'm so flattered. :) Yay, the big A.D.! It'll be fun writing him with a bit of a darker edge--soft humor hiding the sharp knife that his mind really is. (I hope. Heh.)

Darn it. I repeated the word 'little' too often. (Gee, size issues much?) Here's the new version:

Flushing or gulping? Hmm...

I cannot even predict what Dumbledore is going to be with you writing him. But something in me is just cackling and smiling... an evil toothy sort of smile.
