Taking a nap.
May. 20th, 2004 08:37 pmHi guys. I'm going to be absent from LJ for the next week or so for the most part due to RL responsibilities. Online time will be dedicated to writing and uploading stories. I'm trying to do an upload every day.
Not to mention posting
merrycontrary's reviews.
Not to mention reminding everyone to write some Fred and George smut.
And plugging a friend's question about Salinger. We don't have anyone with opinions about literature here, do we? ;) (Coming soon.)
Thanks to
chesyre, we already have a fix for the review problem. People can now review stories on the ficathon website.
Sigh. Now all I need is a bubblebath....

Date: 2004-05-21 06:04 pm (UTC)Let me know if there's anything I can do, although of course you won't see this what with being offline for a week and all but, you know, the thought was there.

Throw rocks at me if I ever let myself fall behind like this again. A friend called me "out of control" as I took on one thing after another. :D Sure, I'll do a website -- how 'bout two? And tutoring, and a ficathon and - and --
*Excuse me a moment while I collapse in laughter.* I can't tell if I overestimated my ability or underestimated the amount of time everything would take. But I just never learn.

PS - BTW, how's Femme? :(

She's okay. It's very hard. I know she's looking forward to being back with us all soon.

Date: 2004-05-25 07:59 pm (UTC)I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this. Okay... all I have to do now is read Campbell's The Power of Myth, Jung's Man and His Symbols, Darko Suvin's Metamorphoses of Science Fiction, and finish Tolien's brilliant but rather convoluted On Fairy Stories, then write a paper by tomorrow. *headdesk*
Tom Felton has a blog. Now tell me he doesn't sound like a slightly more modern version your pampered and self-absorbed Draco Malfoy. (http://www.thomasfelton.com/blog.html)
