Hobbit tenderness
Aug. 14th, 2003 10:39 pmThings are heating up at Bill's Paddock. Many, many, many new updates to The Making of Samwise Frodo/Sam
This is a wonderful, lush series, with outstanding characterisation and an agonizingly slow build. The chapters are bite-sized and rich with humour, humanity, a real-world (almost comfortingly real) angst -- and a sensual, underlying tension. Now up to part 35 and 36, with a terrific portrayal of an oh-so-clever, oh-so-funny, and oh-so-subtle Bilbo Baggins. Run! Go read.
