A tidbit to answer the most-asked question on Primer to the Dark Arts.
( Views on the History of ‘Pure-blood Wizards’ by Albus Dumbledore )
Actually, what happened was that the question of what is a pure-blood was left open in the first four books, so my definition was that it meant a child of a wizard and witch. If one of the parents were Muggle-born (like Lily) then the kid would be first-generation pureblood, and considered to be like 'new money.' Then in OotP Dumbledore called Harry a 'half-blood.' Whoops. It was essential to the commisceo that Harry be pure-blood. Hmmm. So, I was either going to post this as an epilogue, or re-write 'A Crash Course on Dark Magic' to include it.
