Origins Of Myth by Arsenic. Ron/Draco, PG-13.
Summary: Draco gets lost. Ron finds him.
I'm better at feedback than I am advertising, and her summary sucks more than mine do, so here's a sample of my review:
There is a slow seductiveness to this story. You don't dwell on the horrors of Draco's experience, they are simply fact and are all the more real because of this.
You don't force the relationship to happen between Ron and Draco. You let it develop naturally. I applaud you for this. I've read a lot of hot Ron/Draco stories, but this one I truly believed.
Ron was believable and very Ron, but more solid and mature, which was satisfying. I liked the very slight glimpses of Ron's war history. Yes. We wouldn't know much and Draco would relate to Hogwarts-Ron and find out the other stuff later.
The banter between your characters was wonderful, the characterisations were clean and vivid. I giggled throughout.
The Lestrange boy (I forget the first name) was sharply drawn. Within a sentence or two I felt I'd met him and wanted to know more. Draco not knowing the little Weasley girl's name was perfect as was her decision he was okay.
This was a wonderful hour following this dreamy slow ride. Very original and well-woven. You managed to combine all the most implausible story elements [going to America? Muggle amusement parks? War heros? Hermione/Snape?] into a plausible story. I'm impressed.
