School: okay, I've done it.
May. 11th, 2004 09:30 amNo, I did not get my essay done. (I used the time-honoured technique of 'when you're stuck on one thing for a class, work on something that is also due until you're unstuck. At least you'll get something done.')
Yes, I missed my morning classes today from being up all night.
But... I cancelled my ESL tutoring. *sigh of relief*
Those extra two credits, plus the journalling, plus the lesson plans, plus the training, were slowly pushing me over the edge. The workload was far out of proportion to the credit hours involved. I was also supposed to journal about what I was learning about Chinese culture, but my student's english wasn't advanced enough.
I can't make up for the time and momentum I've lost, and a test that I've likely failed. But I'm going to catch up on those last journal entries (backdated *snerk*) and by the end of this week (once the Percy Ficathon, and both the Percy Ficathon site and the new Icarus site are up and running), my schedule will be normal again. I'll be back on track with school.
Whew.
