Outdoor gear wank.

Apparently, there are also wanks in the Outdoor Gear world.

Some of you may recall that wildernesguru had a friend of four years who's a rather eccentric custom (mumble-mumble) maker. WG mentioned that he had reservations about something that was his special design, and the man just went off, digging up everything WG has ever done wrong, everything I've ever done wrong, everything his friends have ever done wrong -- and laid it at WG's door.

WG managed to patch up the friendship.

It blew up again (that old wound reopened) a month ago. The jerk turned around and cancelled my order in retaliation.

The Puppy said, "this guy's only your friend if you agree with him." The Puppy and I advised WG to let the man stew.

Unable to vent at WG directly, today, a month later, this jerk blasted WG publicly on an internet forum.

I have spent the day in battle.
