Birthday time! Birthday time!

Yesterday - Birthday wishes everywhere! Birthday cards, here, and from hp_femme, too. wildernessguru bought bacon and we had a comfortable brunch when I came back from class.

I skipped class Tuesday night and WG and I made a night of it. We're still mellow. Last night I learned class was cancelled anyway. Yay!

I had the afternoon off and my easier class last night (though I've a chapter test in Japanese this am, but I'm getting used to that).

Hooray! We thought our rent was going to be raised, but we found out yesterday that it isn't.

Hooray! I finally met with the Students In Service person, so I'm going to get that scholarship program going.

Hooray! I finally started tutoring in math, so I don't have to do all those review classes. I did much better than I expected, and it was more fun than I remembered. Sines and cosines and all that good stuff.

Watched CSI and Without A Trace. Then finished off the evening with some fine slash stories, snuggling in bed with WG and a beer.

Now that's a birthday.

This is perfect timing, because I'm stepping back and examining my fics happily, the way I used to purr over my jewelry. (I had some very, very nice jewelry way back when.)
