Percyness Archive

Okay. I've got all the Percyfest authors added to the Percyness archive. I will update the Percy Fic-A-Thon site to point to here, and throw the site open to archive new Percy stories.

Somehow I have 45 authors on the Fic-A-Thon site, and 46 authors in my Percyness Archive list. Uh-oh.

I tried to add ficbymarks' hilarious "He's All That" as a test and got a long run of error messages. What did I do? So intead of adding a story under the Admin account, I tried adding my "Council of Obvious Edicts" through the author field. That seemed to work.

Except... somehow I've got multiple entries of character names, and the category isn't showing. Hmm. This is because the character entry field was forcing me to enter a set of characters for each category. So if I don't pick the right character sets it... ah hell. *Icarus swears* I have to go back in, delete those extra characters and somehow get rid of the system's demand to tie the characters to the catagory.

Someone remind me why I'm doing this again? Because I have a feeling this is only the beginning.

Fic Update

Stargate land:

I'm writing a first-time Jack/Daniel fic for Sodality. Actually, it started out as a silly drabble based on titti's wisecrack about "Daniel giving it to Jack on a t-shirt." It's turning out to be blatantly NC-17.

I'm writing what was supposed to be an established relationship SGC party fic for tboy. I tried to change it to first-time. It stubbornly changed back. Oookay then. *gets back to writing* I had an idea last night, but I crashed instead of writing. (Damn those short nights.)

If I can write that Daniel-As-Girl fic by April 15th, I can send it to Off The Record. *roars with laughter, wipes tears from eyes* Okay, maybe that might be a bit ambitious given my homework/work load. I owe ashton7 an email in apology for not sending my other Jack/Daniel story in time. Last week blew up in my face.

The first chapter of wildernessguru's BlackOps!Jack story is written down, just needs to be typed. This is going to easily be 22 scenes, probably longer than Jericho. sharp_tongue has volunteered to beta. (Hoo-rah!)

The Walls Of Jericho is off to my lovely betas, darththalia and tboy. cyanei has already reviewed the first half, while my Linguistics professor did a thorough review of the first chapter. It will be done in itty-bitty pieces as they both have little time, probably as slowly as I posted Primer To The Dark Arts in 2003. I am making radical changes to the plot in light of new scientific information. I told my Geology professor I'm creating a planet, and he told me what was impossible. We're brain-storming and came up with something much more scientifically interesting.
