How *not* to ask for an update.

Asking for updates is fine. Even when I don't have time, it will often jog my mind about a story, and I'm flattered people want to hear more.

I finished Primer To The Dark Arts, the Beg Me For It series, The Walls of Jericho is complete and in beta review as we speak. My track record of finishing WIPs is solid. I have one WIP that I'm not going to finish, and that's A Deserving Man. It was written for someone who's just not interested in more.

But this, as requests go...

the first chapters were quite interesting but i lost it when i realized
that the story is not yet done...sorry...

can u like finish it coz it really frustrates me to read a well-written
fic without an ending...

so pls finish it already...

Poor goseaward. I guess I forgot to tell her that Jericho is 30,000 words. She'll be working on the edits tomorrow.

I would enjoy being sick a lot more if I weren't sick and limp as a noodle on the couch. Things I could do if I weren't sick:

1 - Write BlackOps!Jack
2 - Write that random porn story that came to mind last week
3 - Study for mid-terms
4 - Work on that article for the magazine
5 - Coherency and ability to concentrate would be nice
6 - Write a list with consistent list items

In the news: I have decided that my mom and stepdad's divorce is really depressing. That my childhood sucked. That my mother is manipulative. That my stepdad is sleazy. That I like wildernessguru's blunt summations more than ever.
