SGA 3x05 Review: Progeny

This is my last SGA episode for the next seven weeks. I'm only able to watch these because I've borrowed a computer from school and, as of next week -- school's out.

I'm so eager to see McKay And Mrs. Miller I may piddle. And Sunday, oh, that one's going to be a fanfic-writer's wet dream. And The Tao of Rodney, an episode devoted to Rodney-ness, yes. And The Game -- slash-writer's ahoy, this one looks to be John/Rodney heaven.

Seven weeks. Seven whole weeks.

I've checking back constantly but I still missed it.

I've read none of the noms, not a single one.

SG-1 Pre-Slash: Sonic Boom (yeah, yeah, I know, this one's impossible to categorize).
Read three of these, and, hmmm. Willing is listed as pre-slash? Someone had as difficult a time categorizing as I did.

I've read three of these, and oh, I'm slipping. I missed Paian's. Guys, count on an update to the rec-list in the next month.

SG-1 Humor: For The Petulant Gods.
I've read three of these noms. Shows my fanfic priorities. I've recc'd a couple of them.

SG-1 Kink: Oh What A Night (this story's just bizarre, and all tboy's fault).
I've read none of these, but I'm really looking forward to reading janedavitt's A Necessary Silence, mmm.

SG-1 Romance: Fools Can Dream.
34 noms for this category and I've only read one. I guess soft squishy romance isn't my thing.

SG-1 Vignette: Welcome Home, Mr. General, Sir.
I've read none of these. So far. *smirks*

SG-1/SGA Crossover: Colony Atlantix.
Haven't read these either. How do you compare apples and, oh, pomegranates?


What's great about this year's awards is the format is so easy to drill down to what you want, and then read all the stories in a category. You end up with a selection of just ten or twenty stories.

Nowhere near as overwhelming as it's been in the past.

*rubs hands together* I can't wait.



ETA: I just put the empty Haagen Dazs container back in the freezer. Hmm. Maybe I should fill it with water so it feels like there's some ice cream in it. ;) If one have a boyfriend, one must harrass him from time to time.
