PSA on PMs: Yeah, I rarely check those.

For the first time in months I got around to looking at the upper left hand corner of my screen on LJ. I have copies of all comments sent to my inbox, so it gets rather full.

Bored, I skimmed through the inbox ... and found a half dozen PMs from months ago.

Er. Um. I don't often look at that box. *wince*

I got back to a few people, but some messages were so out of date it seemed absurd to reply now.

The rug.

I made several attempts to buy a rug online.

Note to self: Do not buy rugs online.

Gave up and started making my own. Yes, the materials will cost about as a cheap rug but it's exactly what I want and the I'm using Thick and Quick yarn for plush-plush-plush results. It's cream-colored and kind of sheep-y.

Current size: 3' x 2.5' Almost halfway through section one of ... two or maybe three if I'm ambitious.

Bare minimum it'll be 3' x 5', though if I can stick with it I'd like to make it at least 5' x 6'. The original plan was 6' x 8' but, whew, man, maybe not.
