icarusAfter my panic today, thinking oh no, I'm going to have to look for a part-time job at a burger place or something while I go to school -- the temp agency called.
They'd contacted the place where I worked last year. The people there were thrilled I was available again and they've created a job supporting two departments.
The person who I'm supporting this time is pretty exacting, and it's Finance, which is not my forte. But I'll do what I can.
They're such good people. This is the company that was an absolute heartbreak to leave last November because it was just too much. It's one thing to do a part-time receptionist job while you're going to school full-time. Quite another to do the insanity of executive secretary work.
I start tomorrow morning. I'm thrilled.
And a little shocked. Okay, so much for summer vacation. It was nice, but better that I can go to school in the fall.
SNAFU is burning a hole in my pocket. Connie has it now (actually, I really meant for her just to read it to enjoy it, but well... she's just great).
