LOL! So you've just discovered my (not so secret) treasure... Thank you so much for appreciating it. Incidentally, yes, I recced 'Primer', but I've also recced 'Drunken Domesticity'. *grin* It's quite alright to have a smile on your face, my dear--if my Muse were kind enough to show me Severus Snape in champagne (in a tub, with Harry Potter), I'd be happy too...

Actually, I'd probably ask for Narcissa Malfoy instead--but that's another issue. *cough*

On my own site, of course, I can post as much NC-17 linkage as I like. Hence the higher number of recs--this time arranged by pairing for my visitors' convenience. 'Drunken Domesticity' makes an appearance yet again, this time in my 'Cream of the Crop' page... I couldn't help it, but the WUC and Ron's bathrobe and Severus' brusque yet eloquent humor just had to put it there. 'Primer' is in the Severus/Harry section as well.

The champagne, however, is in my refrigerator. Just waiting for a rainy day...

And others are appreciative of that spirit of sharing! I thought I was well read until I discovered your list. Now I see that I have a lot of catching up to do. "Primer" and "Drunken Domesticity" were already on my "cream of the crop" list, of course, but I'm looking forward to becoming acquainted with some of your other recs.

I really love 'Primer' (plus it's finished, and everyone loves finished stories) but I'm always puzzled by the response 'Drunken Domesticity.' Some people absolutely love it, while others really hate it have this 'meh' response. Why is this?

Well, I can only offer an uneducated guess as to the "meh" responses- maybe they were hoping for a generous helping of smut and were disappointed not to find any? Dunno.

As for me, I love "Drunken Domesticity" because of the characterization of Ron. It's nice to see him acting sure of himself without being cocky, being a steadfast good friend without being boringly earnest or secretly resentful, and his interactions with Snape are priceless. "Oh, and the handles don't match. Bet you'd hate that." I loved the appearance of Snape on the doorstep, too- I could just SEE him there, looking all out of place. Great stuff.
