All the more reason for him not to direct the film. Though maybe he would have done a better job.
As soon as I heard people were picking the next director based on nationality rather than qualifications (Four Wedding and a Funeral, yeah sure, that has a lot to do with the HP genre) I knew it was gonna go downhill.
