Dear slash writers:

It's time to mix it up a little. Waaaay to many fics have a tension/add plot/Ooo!Sex!/all's well pattern. I mean, I understand that is the standard romance template but, remember, it's the standard romance template, okay?

Also, please, no more "it was not enough" to describe kissing/blowjobs/anal penetration/physical contact/frottage. Yes, yes, I'm guilty of this too, but there's got to be another way to say this because it's so common I end up rolling my eyes, thrown out of the scene completely.

Omg thankyou! But not for the reason you were intending! I mean, I thank you for that too, because your message is oh so true -- but actually you acknowledged something that I could use a little help with.

I don't know if you have any suggestions, but I'm thinking that you would probably be as knowledgable as anyone about whether such a thing exists or not. I'm trying to come up with a badfic template. I came up with a list of supposedly humorous cliches for my first OTP (Aragorn/Legolas- I know, I know), and my partner in crime thought it would be hideously fun to put these in fic template form.

So if you know of any fic templates, I'd lick you all over be forever indebted *g* It's a long shot, but hey, you never know who knows what.

Lady, badfic is badfic... *lol* The truly frightening thing -- or perhaps it makes a twisted kind of sense? -- is that badfic shares so many things in common that it transcends fandoms and encompasses all genres. For instance, I could almost guarntee you that I could write a horrid Sam/Frodo mpreg and adapt it beautifully to Harry/Draco with only the names and details changed.

If you have anything at all to recommend in terms of templates, I guarandamntee you that I can adapt it *sporlfe*
