Ah, well. That makes a Hell of a lot more sense. I've only developed an eye for Dan in the past month or so, so I'm playing catch-up (and trying desperately not to - he's just too pretty for his own adolescent good). Still, thought it might have been a scene from a movie someplace, maybe a "sheet pulled back in the morgue" sort of thing (which I admit is morbid, but Hollywood has seldom been known for its accurate visual portrayals of the dead).
Plus, I have no glasses at the moment and, hence, the visual acuity of roadkill, so I've got an excuse for making the mistake. *grin*
