It's time for another exciting edition of...
School Whining!
(It's been so long. I know you've missed it.)
In today's exciting episode, Icarus wrestles a deadly gorgon (also known as student aid), has her research hopes dashed by a dashing yet overburdened professor ("Fie! Thou be-est not a Ph.D. candidate! Get thee gone, for my time is booked for fortnights into the forseeable future!"), and is trapped between the Prerequisite Only Offered In The Summer while lured by the Siren Call of $18-Per-Hour Temp Work.
Will she survive? Will she throw herself out a window in frustration?

This is going to be an intense quarter. I've 14 weeks of classwork stuffed into 8 weeks, 4 hours of classroom time alone, five days a week.
It'll prepare me for grad-school intensity. *crosses fingers that I can do well with this*
