Why is it when I'm trying to write John/Rodney porn, I end up with Carson and John in a jail cell? Having ernest conversations and an "I'll think about it" from John, ending in an incredibly unlikely (if astoundingly polite) pairing? nufaciel, it's not my fault. Blame them if you end up with John/Carson. *points*

I have my list of fics to rec for stargateficrec. When I get to tired to write tonight, I'll do those.

The John Screws Up story (NC-17 het) is now at ~9,000 words and climbing. I have until Wednesday to finish it, because Thursday --

-- I'll be back in school. This is going to be intense. Four hours a day in class, five days a week, not including homework and reading.

Hey...sorry to jump in here and talk about absolutely nothing you put in your post, but I've been thinking of you while I'm reading the WIP paian is writing called Shades of Black. It's a lot of back story on Jack, all that hard-bitten BlackOps!Jack that makes me think of you. So far it's all Gen, but she says there will be Jack/Daniel sooner or later. Oh, and here's the second part, Shades of Black 2. Good stuff. It was Wildernessguru that requested BlackOps!Jack, wasn't it? Maybe you should let him know. It's Paian, so you know it's good.

Carry on with the John/Carson, and the fic recs and stuff... Oh, and I'll read Carson/John...I hope you write it.

That sounds great, though I admit a twinge of guilt over my own unfinished BlackOps!Jack. But what I had was too close to Bravo Two Zero, and in the current political climate... even though it's canon for Jack to have been shot down in Iraq I just don't want to write it. It sounds too pro-Iraq-war.

I'm doing a half summer session. Then I go back again in the fall. But I'm looking forward to this because I'm doing Ancient Asian civilizations. :)
