These drabbles are told from Ron's point of view and part of Beg Me For It and fall between 'Beg Me For It' and 'Sex, Drugs and Death Eater Rock.'


Guess Who?


Draco turns up at my office sometimes -- scares the piss out of me when there’s suddenly hands over my eyes and a whispered, “Guess who?” into the back of my neck. How he can sneak up on me… my desk faces the door! It’s liked being pounced on by a baby tiger; you know it’s playing, but he’s also learning how to kill. Blind, heart racing, I think: Lucius is a dead man.

This is one of my favourites. Most of these were cut from Death Eater Rock, but this one was cut from the original version of Beg Me For It. It hurt to cut it, but it slowed the pacing down too much at the end of the story.

*grins* Yeah, it hurt to delete this one from the original stories. First it was in Beg Me For It and I deleted it. Had to, it messed up the pacing. Then I had in Death Eater Rock. And it got deleted again, because it messed up the mood. It was CLS's favourite drabble, too. I'm glad I can finally use it.

Well, I'm glad you're posting them now, even if they are separate pieces from the story. I really like all those from Ron's POV.

I'm putting them up on my website, too, because I think they really add to the story. They paint the environment in ways that you don't really see otherwise. Sometimes... I regret cutting them out of Death Eater Rock, although switchknife was right, they were jarring. But I think the story overall really needs them.

Well, the next chapter gives a very clear picture of what life in the Death Eater Ministry is like.

Yes, actually. CLS has done the initial Beta review, and now T'boy has it. 'Hey You' has a rather intricate plot, and we're trying to make it so that it's stands on its own at least as well as Death Eater Rock. I'm catching little things throughout -- 'oh, wait, you won't know what we're talking about unless you've read Beg Me For It... oh, yeah, I didn't explain at all what Ron and Draco are doing together, did I? Oops, that's a reference to Draco's 'source', but I don't mention anywhere that he's dealing Muggle drugs.' That sort of thing. Other than that, the story is done. It should be out soon.
