I echo Auburn in noting that wherever it was, it should spawn more stories because this was just lovely. Lovely in that the horror is not over emoted, is not with the cliched reaction, but still drives in hard for all that is not said. All that is not felt, all that is subsumed into the surreal world of the vacuum and being suspended in space.
I love the sensation you give here of floating in space, the enormity of it, how it is unforgiving and never ending. We are just specks, John is just a speck and as such is unable to do and change anything. Even Rodney's excitement and hubris is totally at the mercy of such enormity. As is his death. It is the image we were supposed to get with Niam drifting in the vacuum, but the show failed to deliver.
Again, I say, more.
This is the good quality tea and the good quality chocolate combined.
